Check out the rockin' stop animation opening sequence to Handmade Nation that was just posted on YouTube. For more information about the documentary and book, visit the brand new Handmade Nation website. And keep an eye out for some very special Sublime Stitching patterns that will be making an appearance shortly!
Check out the latest episode of ThreadHeads! Corinne and Rob of www.Threadbanger.com stopped by recently to visit me and I gave a little embroidery how-to.
We were recently visited by a small film crew working on a documentary who wanted to interview some of us in the Austin Craft Mafia. They've posted this little preview where you can get a behind-the-scenes look at the Sublime Stitching office and my cute little staff.
Hey! Ho! How's it goin? I've been slow with the blog postings lately- sorry about that. It's just that running an empire is rather demanding. Geez, why didn't anybody tell me? But I will admit that I found time for some vanity-googling and came across this KLRU interview that I did a while back. This should distract you for a while...Enjoy! Back soon.
Last summer the fine fellows of FredFlare.com stopped by our Austin Craft Mafia booth at the Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn (not be confused with last month's version in Chicago- pictures are coming) to interview us for their podcast. I got to say my two cents into the microphone before it was yanked away. Now you can see me live, in action: a hyper dork excited to talk about embroidery. Enjoy!
