Spun "Alger" silk thread for hand embroidery from Au Ver à Soie Paris, in a range of lush greens (and one silvery grey) I've selected for you that will contrast beautifully when combined with each other! Loosely plyed, this silk floss separates easily for work as fine as 1-2 strands. Bright and soft with an excellent tensile strength and smooth twist for snag-free needle working. The unrivaled quality of their raw silk means it does not abrade easily. And yes, it's colorfast and washable!
Au Ver à Soie silks have been made by the same family in Paris since 1820.
