Who hasn't felt they deserved an award from time to time? Well, finally there is the Academy of Handmade, created to honor those independent makers, designers and shops that have worked so hard to fill our lives with something creative, meaningful, heartfelt and handmade.

Make your nominations! The deadline is approaching fast. And while it's awful nice of you to consider nominating me, I am being honored as a Master Maker. Garsh. That sure is nice. Hope to see you at the awards show!
