Moomin Contest Winners!

You have been patiently awaiting the announcement of the winner so let's not put it off any longer!
Winner, winner chicken dinner! (Actually, first prize wins one of EVERY Sublime Stitching pattern.) Drumroll...
1st Prize Jessica Palmer of Simpsonville, South Carolina!
WOW. What an eye-popping mashup of patterns! Jessica made her piece using Moomin Love, Epic Alphabet and Moomin Friends! But it's her extra touches that really necked it over the line. I absolutely love all the delicate, felt blooms she added. Congratulations Jessica! You soon will be receiving one of every Sublime Stitching pattern in our collection!
Now let's see our esteemed runners-up:
2nd Prize Karen Luckins of Fareham, Hampshire, England:
Karen took the Moomin Home embroidery patterns, and ingeniously added the Moomins to the windows! So cute. Looks great on felt, perfect for a nursery. This took a lot of work!
Karen will receive two colors of Fine Tip Transfer Pens!
3rd Prize Val Egan of Portland, Oregon:
YES. I adore an embroidery statement piece! Val's apron is made with the Moomin Love embroidery patterns front and center. Looks GREAT! Val will receive a pack of our Carbon Transfer Paper!
Not to be outdone, let's have a look at some other notable entries, shall we? (All photos below and above link to the patterns used!)
• HIGHLY HONORABLE MENTIONS •
One of my favorite Moomin images ("You are silly") embroidered by Alex Emery of Santa Clarita, California!
An inviting and fun Moomin picnic blanket sewn and embroidered by Jennifer McMorris of Austin, Texas! She used Snork Maiden, Moomin Papa, Dance Party, Snufkin and Moomin Home patterns.
An irrepressible Snork Maiden piece called "Snork Maiden Loves Summer" (don't overlook all those delicately embroidered flowers around her) embroidered by Emily Snowflake of Littleport, Cambridgeshire, England!
This one looks simple, but check it out: This is a family portrait with Moomin characters representing the mother and siblings of Maggie Sherwin of Ottowa, Ontario, Canada! What a clever and sweet idea.
Who do we have here? Hello...
Oh, hello Charlie! Can we have a look at your tummy?
Aww! Moomin, the tree-hugger stitched onto a onesie (I hope you used some T-Shirt Stabilizer) by Lillie Moore of Bartlett, Tennessee!
You know who pink fun fur ever hurt? No one. This is a very cute (and comfy-looking) pillow of dancing Moomins made by M. Lankford of Los Angeles, California!
All of our runners-up will be sent a coupon code as a special thank-you!
