Photographic Embroidery


No, I am not doing entries on cats. (Despite the overwhelming urge.) That image you see above is embroidered by hand. You heard me. And not only that, it's a double-sided embroidery, meaning the image appears on the front and the back, with no discernable difference between the two. You see, there's this whole practice in China of meticulously detailed, double-sided silk embroidery. Don't believe me?
