If you Google "Stitch and Bitch" the wonderful, non-profit Chicago knitting group Stitch 'n Bitch Chicago comes up as the number one listing. When I hear the phrase "Stitch and Bitch" I think: knitting groups, Debbie Stoller, Chicago's Stitch 'n Bitch...warm and fuzzy gatherings. Unfortunately, they're having some legal problems from a lesser-known company trying to claim they own the trademark to the phrase "Stitch and Bitch". Last I checked, this was a commmon usage phrase that's been around for decades. Trying to profit from and limit its usage seems like a not-so-smart way to tangle with loyal and loving crafters.
