I don't know how my friend Alex Beauchamp does it. She's a writer extraordinaire, champion of the self-employed woman (she profiled me on her site AnotherGirlatPlay.com back in 2002), and heads up her own production company. I got to hang out with her last month at the SXSW Interactive Awards, because she was nominated (of course) for her latest site A Girl's Guide to City Life.
