Austin is one of the lucky cities to host Maker Faire this weekend! Sublime Stitching will have a booth, and I'll be doing some intro-to-embroidery workshops on Saturday at 11:30 and Sunday at 2:30 in the "Maker Shed". Be sure to check ye olde Sublime Stitching Calendar for info. I'm especially looking forward to Becky Stern's Soft Circuit Embroidery.
