Our good friend Christine Haynes has her first book out! Chic & Simple Sewing (Potter Craft) is definitely for those who've not yet dipped their toes into making clothes. Christine was our booth-neighbor at Renegade Craft in Chicago a couple of years ago, and I admired her simple and classic clothing (and I bought a top). Christine has even been getting our buddy Mark Frauenfelder sewing pillows of his own with her workshops at ReForm School in Los Angeles! Congratulations, Christine. She and I chatted about her book a few years ago when she was hard at work on it, and I'm so glad to see the results in my hands!
