Whenever Jordan, shipping boy here at Sublime Stitching, sends me a link that says "cool embroidery", I know I'd better be sure to take a look. And, WOW. Check out this gorgeous embroidered rendering of Amy Winehouse (never looking better) with her hair turned tenderly into a nest of birds. It's a rather kind portrait as well, and that's another reason I like it. The hair is brilliantly done and obviously a ton of work. I wonder what size this is (10")? Just plain killer. (putting monocle away)
Makes me think of Kira Hoshi a bit, too.
