ROCKIN' EMBROIDERY
Who knew I'd end up working on a music video? I was hired to do wardrobe for this oddly-named Scottish band Biffy Clyro. So, I covered some racing jumpsuits in patches and embroidered nicknames over the pockets. That's Lucky and Cruiser (aka Ben and James) pictured in their sublimely stitched suits. They loved them so much they kept them! "Weel warem weeth pryde!" they told me in brogues so thick I could barely understand them. Look for their video My Recovery Injection on MTV someday soon. Directed by Dan Brown and Brad Beesley of Okie Noodling fame. Oh, and look...
HEY MOM! LOOKIT WHAT I MADE:
A subtle, yet refined look for your lingerie. Actually, I made this from the new patterns, Dainty Days. I was just inspired by..I don't know...the design just came to me. Get the FULL LINE of patterns here! (Special thanks to my saucy model)

It airs again on Sundays 4:30ET/3:30CT so set your TiVos! (She's going to wear an embroidered western shirt I did on an upcoming episode! Yeeps! Will let you know when...)
CRAFTY ENTOMOLOGY
Cross-stitched insects. Yet another fabulous import from Japan. Makoto Oozu, who apologized for not speaking english and identified himself as a "Japanese boy" emailed me with his work. I think my favorite pieces are the stitched, entomological displays in shadow boxes. Check out his site, Bikini Queens. Domo Makoto-san!
NEW PATTERNS COMING!
I can't stand it any longer. The new patterns will be available very soon and I just had to tell you. And the best part is, all four styles are themes you've been begging for. Oh yeah, that's right, I did a Dia De Los Muertos sheet. Want to see the rest? Click here. Gimmie another week or two and they'll be available here. Goody!
