Workshop and Event Policies
Cancellation Policy and Terms of Registration for In-Person Workshops and Events
1. Registration Fee:
The full workshop fee must be paid at the time of registration to secure your spot.
2. Cancellation by Participant:
- More than 90 Days Before Event: Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the workshop date will receive a 50% refund.
- Less than 90 Days Before Event: Cancellations made less than 90 days before the workshop date are non-refundable.
3. Transfer of Registration:
Participants may transfer their registration to another person up to 10 days before the workshop. Transfers are not accepted within 10 days of the workshop. Transferred registrations are not eligible for refunds.
4. Cancellation by Organizer:
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the workshop for reasons including, but not limited to, insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or emergencies such as natural disasters or pandemics. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund of the event fee. The organizer is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodations.
Workshop Etiquette & Conduct
To ensure a positive experience for all, participants are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Punctuality: Arrive on time to avoid disrupting the instructor and fellow participants.
- Fragrance: Avoid wearing strong perfumes or colognes to accommodate those with sensitivities.
- Food and Beverages: Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except for water in a closed container.
- Behavior: Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
Photography and Recording
Personal photography and recording during the event are allowed. However, full-length recordings or live-streaming of the event are prohibited.
Photography and Media Release
By attending this workshop, you consent to being photographed, recorded, and/or videotaped during the event. These images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, social media, websites, and other marketing materials by Sublime Stitching. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the event staff upon arrival. Your participation implies acceptance of these terms.
Accessibility
Accessibility features may vary by venue. While efforts are made to choose ADA-compliant locations, some historic or unique venues may have limitations.
For accessibility concerns, participants are encouraged to contact the venue directly for details before registering. Additionally, inquiries may be directed to info@sublimestitching.com. Every effort will be made to accommodate needs, but it cannot be guaranteed that all requests can be met if made after registration.
Liability and Indemnification
Participation in the workshop implies agreement to indemnify and hold harmless the organizer, instructors, and associated personnel from any claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses, including attorney's fees, arising from participation in the workshop, including any injuries that may occur.
Agreement
By registering for the workshop, participants agree to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy and the liability indemnification clause.
