Braided metallic threads for snag-free hand embroidery direct from Au Ver à Soie Paris, in a range of gorgeous palettes. Bright and sparkling threads, with excellent tensile strength and a smooth twist. The unrivaled quality of Au Ver à Soie threads means they do not abrade easily. They have been made by the same family in Paris since 1820.
Each skein measures 5 meters, 6 shades per range.

Sue Markham I have tried all kinds of metallic threads. I have been frustrated and horrified by the breakage, curling and fraying. I tried shorter lengths, couching and forgoing sparkle altogether. I saw a review of this product and purchased it, but had little hope it would be better. The reviewer was right.
I am a believer, it lays where I place it, threads easily and blends with other threads well.
I will add it to my collection and purchase more in the future.
