Mandalikescats I didn’t know what loteria was! I was chatting with a gal whose family plays it and I knew, after hearing the joy in her explanation of this game her family loves, the first thing I would do after our convo was finally buy both of the Loteria patterns Sublime Stitching offers. I really love the color examples that come with patterns like these. I like picking my stitches but get a little overwhelmed with color. I also like how these patterns can be stitched simply or used as a jumping off point in my work.
I plan to make them into textile “post cards” to share and show appreciation for the game, the folks who play it and our textile art.

Linda Jenny never disappoints. I made a fun dangling car ornament for my loteria-loving friend. Followed the suggested color scheme and man, it looked great! Lots of embroidery bang for my buck. I’m looking forward to stitching up the other designs.
